Speech Marks
Speech marks are quite straight forward in a way: you use them for speech. However, getting them absolutely 'spot on' is one of the most tricky tricks in punctuation.

Commas and full stops go inside the speech marks if they belong to the speech. If they belong to the sentence outside the speech, they go outside. When I wrote, 'Questions and exclamation marks follow logic' I meant that they also go inside if they belong to the speech and outside if they belong to the sentence outside the speech.
